Ignoring Diversity Won't Make it Appear
The first half of my experience was enjoyable. My female manager enthusiastically supported learning and growth. Second half was ignored by leadership, no plans for succession after manager left, and ultimately an outside hire changed the culture of the team for the worse. No systems for reporting issues with management, no ongoing method for increasing diversity, which was sorely lacking at headquarters.
