I've been away from employment here for a few years, but during my time, Southwest talked a big game. At the end of the day, the focus was on diversity recognition and not about how us underrepresented employees felt or empowering us to lead. It may have changed since then and I hope for the better,

I feel cared for by my leaders in a personal sense as well as a professional development standpoint. It really feels like a family and I love the focus here on diversity and inclusion. There really is a push to make sure every employees feels like part of the team. I feel lucky to work for such a thoughtful company.

There is a reason that SWA has won all kind of awards for our culture - it has been going strong for almost 50 years. The culture really makes us all feel like family. The company treats all employees as equals as if we are all of the same importance no matter the role.
