Amazing place to work!
As working parents challenged with finding a work-life balance at their previous firms, Kelly Hayes and Elizabeth Spawn Stotler set out to create something that didn't yet exist. Seven years ago, Stotler Hayes Group (SHG) was born.
Kelly and Elizabeth laid out the blueprint of what Stotler Hayes Group is today - a firm that combines the passion for the practice of law with a zest for living life. The culture of the firm is unique and distinct from other law firms, even from most businesses. The values at Stotler Hayes have emerged as a distinct edict, how we live and work at our core.
One of the core values at SHG is Care Bears Unite - Our differences make us unique. Our commonalities make us a team. We need both.
Stotler Hayes Group values the significant contributions that come from individuals with diverse traits, backgrounds, and ideas. As part of the firm's commitment to fostering a culture where every voice is heard and respected, our Firm Administrator, Andrea Kirksey, recently became a Certified Dare to Lead ™ ‚ Facilitator. Andrea derives deep meaning from this work and she is dedicated to ensuring SHG continues to lead and communicate with courage and wholeheartedness.
Here are a few ways SHG has created a diverse and inclusive workplace: Provides "floating holidays" to allow employees time off to celebrate cultural and religious practices. Embraces a multi-generational workforce. Our team ranges greatly in age and experience. Evaluations and promotions are based on work product and performance not just seniority. Supports charities committed to assisting diverse groups of children and adults in need within our communities through donations and volunteering. Offers an accessible office space for staff. Provides MilkStork benefit for breastfeeding mothers who need to travel due for work. Provides gender-friendly restroom. Provides a comfortable workspace for nursing mothers. Stotler Hayes Group is grateful to be a part of the journeys of its people and knows its journey wouldn't be the same without them.
