The Marketing Arm in 2019
Diversity in leadership is definitely lacking at TMA - although they do have a fair amount of women in leadership roles.
Inclusivity really depends on your manager and account since they each operate differently.
TMA is great about providing many paid holidays: MLK, President's Day, Good Friday, etc. and closed from Christmas Eve til New Year's Day every year which is a great bonus.
Employees start with 2 weeks vacation plus 5 sick days - use or lose for both.
There are several company outings (i.e. holiday party,
Texas Rangers outing, etc.) to mix and mingle to get to know each other - if work allowed for you to get away.
D&I benefits are non-existent. Paid maternity leave is part of FMLA, no paternity leave, no fertility insurance or adoption assistance. Medical and dental benefits are amazing and almost free for individuals! The price increase was more than the average corporation if you added a family.
In general, TMA has increased in diversity over the past couple of years, but not much at a senior level.
There was a dedicated Multicultural marketing team but that dissolved in 2018/2019.
There is a diversity and inclusion committee, but not dedicated department or personnel.
