Nothing new
Just like many Texas-based law firms, it can be isolating for a person of color attorney given the culture. Executive leadership is not diverse and often times results in partners being made who look similar. People are nice and hardworking, but I find it difficult to find a sponsor.

More Advancement Opportunities Needed For Women and People Of Color
Sophisticated work and great pay. The firm tries to focus on D&I initiatives including community-based ones like its Diversity Scholarships as well as Diversity Fellowships. The firm does a great job on recruiting diverse talent but there is room for improvement on keeping diverse talent.

Great Firm
Great diversity and experience for staff. There’s the normal law firm politics, but I have worked here for years and feel that staff is diverse and happy.
