Great experience working here and very collaborative team with an overall positive atmosphere. Unfortunately on the new side, staff reductions kept the few that remained constantly stressed. There was a focus on hiring contractors instead of full-time workers which made it harder for employees to do their job. Other than that, culture was good and I was able to find a good work/life balance.

Before the Verizon acquisition, Yahoo culture was awesome and it was a great place to work. People really felt like it was their family outside their family. Work was fun and people focused on work-life balance. The Yahoo culture has drastically changed though after the Verizon acquisition. I hope that we can get back to the old Yahoo culture once again.
